Thinking Warm Thoughts...and Spring!
Hi again and a warm welcome to all my new subscribers! I hope this
finds you and your loved ones safe and doing well. Last time I wrote,
we were in the grips of subzero weather and have since had a couple
more good snowstorms here in eastern Nebraska. The snow is almost gone
today though and temps in the 50's, so spring is just around the corner!
Thoughts of spring inspired the painting above, my first of 2021
finally. I took a break from painting for the last couple of months to
recharge, study, work on new ideas and get some organizing done
(including our taxes...earliest ever!). Sometimes taking a break and
clearing one's head is really good for the creative spirit. The
excitement I felt filling my palette with fresh paint last week
confirmed the break was the right thing to do. So watch out for a
flurry of new paintings coming soon...I'm feeling truly inspired!
So you're probably wondering what I mean by the subject line
"Opportunities to Save..." I have an opportunity for artists and anyone
interested in learning to paint to save $600 on a wonderful educational
event I'm going to be a part of (this offer ends tomorrow night though,
Feb 28th and after that, the discount goes to $500). And for those of
you who currently collect my work or would like to start, I've reduced
the price of 6 of my paintings by $600 each! This offer goes through
March 31st (unless the paintings sell before then!) - first come first
served. And my Retired Painting sale is ongoing - click here
to see available
pieces.
Keep reading below for more information on both of these savings offers.
As always, thank you for taking time to read my newsletters...your
support and your friendship mean more than you know. I love hearing
from you! I promise to continue to do what I can to bring a little
beauty and JOY to our world, and hopefully lift our collective spirits
in the process. Until next time, stay safe and be well!

I'm so honored to be part of the faculty for this year's Plein Air
Live! I'll be presenting a session on oil painting on Beginner's Day,
April 14th. The online convention runs from April 14th through 17th.
You can save $600 on the registration fee if you register by Feb 28th
(tomorrow!). After that the discount is $500 through March 28th. I took
part last year as an attendee and I can tell you it's a phenomenal
chance to learn from the comfort of your home and the price is much
less than you would spend traveling to a convention. Click here
to register and for more
information!
