"Majesty" 14x18 oil on linen panel - available
Hello again and a special warm welcome to my new subscribers! I hope
2026 is off to a good start for you and your loved ones.
With the difficult, stressful times we are experiencing, many people
are looking for ways to cope and relieve stress. Did you
know...learning to paint can help you unwind, reconnect with your
imagination, and tap into mindfulness? Painting (or any type of
creative activity) can help you feel calmer, inspired, and recharged.
As well as being a great way to relax, painting allows you to explore
your creativity, express your emotions, and discover fulfilling new
ways to spend your time.
On Saturday and Sunday, March 7th and 8th, I'm offering my annual Oil
Painting for Beginners class...absolutely no experience necessary! All
materials are included in the tuition price, so no need to purchase any
supplies at all. Just come and play! This is always my favorite class
to teach and is always lots of fun. If you do have some experience
painting, I have a wide variety of one and two day workshops available
this year. Click HERE for
the complete schedule and more information on all of these. Call or
email me if you would like to register. Bring a friend or family member
and save 10% on both of your tuitions. Gift certificates are available!
New Painting! The painting at the top of this newsletter, "Majesty,"
was started as a painting demonstration for Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha
(see photo at right). It was done from a plein air study (painted on
location in Washington State) plus reference photos. I really love
sharing the painting process!
