Hello again and welcome to my new newsletter format...I hope you enjoy it! Just wanted to catch you up on the latest news here at the studio and gallery...

I'm heading out for Wisconsin in a couple of days for the American Impressionist Society's 19th Annual National Juried Exhibition which will be held at the Peninsula School of Art's Guenzel Gallery in Fish Creek. The exhibition will run from September 27th through October 28th. Opening reception and awards presentation will be Thursday, September 27th, from 5 to 8pm, and is free and open to the public. SAVE THE DATE! I'll be holding a very special holiday open house Thursday, November 29th through Saturday, December 1st. Special guest artists and events to be announced along with new segmented wood vases and vessels by my husband, Don, and some new work from yours truly. More details to come soon!

New Paintings from Door County Plein Air

and Paint Grand Traverse - Some Favorites!

The paintings above and to the left are all from the Door County Plein Air Festival which was held in Wisconsin in July. Those below are from the Paint Grand Traverse Plein Air event held last month in Michigan. There are still a few pieces available - see the "New Works section of my website for more!

October 27-28, 9am to 4pm
$225 - All materials included and absolutely no previous painting experience required! Still a couple of spaces available. Click here for details.

OPEN STUDIO PORTRAIT SESSIONS

These are held once a month on Monday nights through December. 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

$15 includes model fee.

No formal instruction - just bring your paints or drawing materials, and come and paint or draw!

Next sessions: Monday, October 8th, November 5 and December 3rd. Please RSVP - space is limited. Let me know if you need table space and if you'll be drawing or painting. Hope to see you!
